Halloween night....

Tonight is the night we have been waiting so long for! We have been begging to go trick-or-treating for weeks now. This year we decided to be Woody, Jessie, and Bulls-eye from the movie "Toy Story 2". Elijah was "Woody", Adrie was "Jessie", and lil' Ezra was "Bulls-eye the horse". We went trick-or treating with our friends Jacob and Nadia. After that we visited "Bootsie" (Aunt Gail). We had a fun time surprising her with our costumes. She even had candy for us. We had a blast! There are more pictures to come. Mommy forgot to bring her memory card that goes in her camera, so Jacob's mommy is going to send us more pictures of our big night. These are pictures of us once we returned home. We were so tired and went to bed really well for Mommy tonight even with the sugar high!

Schappacher Farm Field Trip

Today Elijah had his first ever field trip experience. He and his class visited Schappacher Farm and then went to McDonald's for lunch. Mommy went too as a helper and driver. We had so much fun. We got to feed the cattle, donkeys, and goats...

We learned about the differences between all types of corn, and the difference between straw and hay...

We took a straw ride (not a hay ride) to the pumpkin patch to pick out our own pumpkins to take home...

And we had a snack (popcorn and apple juice in neat pumpkin containers)...then we were off to McDonald's for lunch.

We had so much fun! It was so neat to see Elijah interacting with his preschool friends. We had some good quality time together also. Daddy stayed home with Ezra and Adrie. Adrielle is finally starting to feel better. We took her to the doctor yesterday and the medicines finally are starting to kick in.

Fall Party at Papa and Grammy's house

On Friday night we went to Papa and Grammy's house in Indiana (4 hours away). Daddy and Mommy packed up the SUV and didn't even tell us where we were going. We left late at night and we all slept the whole way there! Mommy and Daddy said they had a very peaceful drive. We were SO surprised once we arrived and woke up. Elijah said "how did we get to Papa and Grammy's? It didn't even take so long! ...Mommy... are we magic?" Grammy and Papa had an awesome weekend planned for us.

We had a fall party on Saturday. They had games, a tent, a bon-fire, and lots of yummy food for us! We had so much fun! We had tons of fun playing with our cousins. Aunt Sarah was there and carved a pumpkin with us. Uncle Jeremy brought over his 4-wheeler so we could take rides through the fields, and he even brought fireworks and put on a fire work show for us. They also had a pinata for us filled with tons of treats and toys. Later on, our second cousin Shiree and her husband Steve came over to visit. It was so good to see them. On Saturday afternoon poor little Adrie started running a fever and was showing signs of a bladder infection. Even so, she was such a little trooper. It never fails that someone has to get sick once we go out of town.

On Sunday we went to church with Grammy and then had lunch at their house. Grammy made us some yummy lasagna and other stuff. Our cousins came back over to Papa and Grammy's and we played some more, but we had to head on home a bit early since Adrie wasn't feeling so hot. Mommy was so sleepy since she was up with Adrie so much throughout the night. Overall, we had a great time! Thanks so much Papa and Grammy for planning such a great weekend for us, and thank you Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Terri for all you did too! We miss you all!

A Visit To The YMCA

Tonight we got to go to the YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio with Tracy, Ben, Claire, and Joscie Kemper. Mommy and Tracy planned a cool play date tonight! It was so much fun! The Kempers have a membership and they had a family guest pass so they invited us to go. We went swimming, had a picnic (sort of) together, and we played in the mat room. We had a blast! We went to sleep easily for mommy tonight! We were wore out! Thanks so much for showing us around and inviting us Kemper family! We wish we had a membership :) Elijah and Adrie said they wanted to go there everyday with Ben and Claire. (The pictures didn't turn out the best...the pool water really isn't dirty...our camera is just getting old and is starting to have a mind of it's own. I think it wants to retire Hint... Hint...Will.)

K.I.S.S. Day at Preschool...

Yesterday was K.I.S.S. Day at Elijah's preschool. This means that Elijah got to invite someone special to come to his class with him. He chose to invite "Bootsie". For any of you reading this who does not know who "Bootsie" is...it is Elijah's great Aunt Gail. He adores her. She gladly accepted the invitation and they had so much fun together. Elijah has not stopped talking about it. Elijah's teachers had all sort of fun things lined up for them. The class sang songs for all the special guests. They also did a special craft together (which was they got their picture taken together and then they decorated the frame with foam cut outs.) They also got to eat a special snack that the children had brought in. Bootsie also got to go to chapel with him. (Every Thursday is Chapel day at preschool). On Tuesday at school all the kids made a special gift for their guest. Elijah said he worked really hard and made a kiss and hug box for Bootsie. He had such a great time. Thank you so much Bootsie for making his day so special!

Cousin Whitney's Birthday!

Yesterday we went to Aunt Jackie and Uncle Bob's house for our cousin Whitney's birthday party. She turned 20 on October 12. We had lots of fun! It was so good to see the family. It had been awhile since we had all gotten together. Whitney's cake was awesome. Adrie loved the "pink cake"! She still is talking about it. We had a great time!

The Pumpkin Festival

On Saturday night (Oct. 6) we went to the pumpkin festival close to our house. A nearby church holds it every year. We went last year too. It was so much fun! They had all kinds of little games and stuff for us to do. We won lots of prizes. We even went on a hayride that took us out to a field full of pumpkins. We got to choose one to take home. They even had tons of animals to look at and pet. We didn't try the rides out though...Adrie is not quite ready for them and Elijah didn't want to go by himself :) We had a blast even though it was so hot!

Here we all are on the hayride.

Here we are playing on the hay stacks.

Elijah and Adrielle walking a llama on a leash.

Ezra even had tons of fun!

Our Computer is fixed...Time to catch up!

Our computer has been down for about a week now. We got struck with a horrible virus! Mommy finally got it all fixed so we can start posting again. We can finally catch up! It is amazing how much we depend on computers these days. You never know how much you miss it and use it until it is broke. This past weekend we had a blast! On Friday, October 5, we went to our first high school football game ever. (Well, Elijah has been to one other in GA. to watch his cousin Cassie cheer, but he was just a baby so he doesn't remember it). We had a blast! We went with daddy's friends Ken Singer and his daughter Debbie Singer. Our daddy used to go to the high school football games with them when he was little. It was so nice to meet the Singers. They are wonderful, sweet people. They spoiled us rotten with snacks! We got there a little early so we could see the band warm up and march on to the field, and get a good seat. We stayed for the entire game! It was Princeton vs. Mason. I believe it was the first time ever they have played each other. Daddy went to both of those schools growing up. We did really well at the game. Even little Ezra did well! Mommy just carried him around in the baby b'journ carrier and he was so content. We were so intrigued with watching all the people in the crowd, the football players, cheerleaders, and we loved the band! We didn't even get tired! (But daddy made sure we had good naps earlier that day). We can't wait to go again!

Purple People Bridge

Yesterday (Sunday) we all needed to get out of the house. First we went to Covington KY. to look at an old Victorian home that is being put up for auction. Will loves Victorian homes and we love to go look at them for fun. We were going to go look in the windows of the home and grab a brochure that had all the info about the house on it, but when we opened the gate...we got backed up by a huge dog! I guess the people must not really want the house to go up for auction. I don't know how you are supposed to get a brochure with a huge dog backing people up when they open the gate?!?! After that we decided to go walk across the Purple People Bridge. The kids love to do this. They love to look at the river and watch the boats. This was Ezra's first trip to the bridge. It was so beautiful outside! The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Here are some pictures of our fun trip to the bridge...
