Today Elijah got his cast put on. He chose two colors...green and blue. They actually just casted over the splint he already had on because they did not want to take any chances and move anything. This is one huge cast for such a little guy. We go back next Wednesday to get more X-rays and see how things are doing. Hopefully they will take this cast off and put a smaller one on as well. His poor shoulder has been sore from all the added weight. We are still praying for no surgery...but if things aren't lined up any better next week, we will have to make some decisions. He is handling the whole situation really well. He has been a little down in the dumps though because he just can't do all the things he used to. He is left handed so is has been a real challenge for him just to do the small everyday things.
